What does the Bible say about time management?
"Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:15,16
We are accountable to God how we use our time. Our time is very valuable so we must be careful not to waste it. We ought to take advantage of opportunities for service. We have a limited time on earth. Paul exhorts us to use as much of that time as possible for advancing Christ's purpose in this world.
Even the youth should be cautious as to how they use their time. "Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer in the days of your youth; walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes: but know that for all these God will bring you into judgment." "Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity." Ecclesiastes 11:9 & 10.
Solomon urges young people to enjoy themselves completely while not forgetting that God will review the quality of their life.
Life is short young people and youth does not last so choose to serve God early. "Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth..." Ecclesiastes 12:1
It is God's will that we all are good stewarts of our time.
